Liebster award!

Hey, loves! And how are you all this fine Friday? Today I thought I would finally do the Liebster award, an award meant for bloggers with less than 200 followers to help their blog become more well known. I was nominated by Blaze Ann from Proverbs 31 beauty, Mady from Socks for Supper, and Sophia from Someplace in the Midst. Because I was nominated by three people, I am going to bend the rules just a bit (hehe), and only pick six of each girls' questions to answer.

Before we begin, I would like to say that I have been nominated for a few awards now, and even though I never did those I didn't mean it personally- I was likely too busy or didn't want to do an award on my blog at that time. I really appreciate when I'm awarded, and all of my followers!

Alrighty, let's begin.

The rules are thus...

  1. Link back to the blogger (in this case, bloggers) who nominated you
  2. Answer the 11 questions
  3. Nominate other bloggers
  4. Create 11 new questions
  5. Notify the bloggers you nominated of the award

Favourite quote?

Hmm. This is an excellent question. I think I'm going to have to go with, 'How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.' A.A. Milne, Winnie the Pooh

Be thrown into the Marvel universe or Middle Earth?

You know, I was totally going to say Middle Earth until I discussed this with my siblings. They are of the opinion that they would never feel safe in Middle Earth, which I suppose I agree with, but then again, what's life without a little adventure? If I said I would live in the Marvel universe, I don't think my life would much change. I'm going to go with Middle Earth.

Dream pet and its name?

I'm going to have to say a penguin. I love penguins, the way they waddle around and look like they're wearing suits... I'm not sure what I would name it.

If I left you alone in a room with a sleeve of oreos and told you not to eat them, how long would it take before you ate them?

Probably not that long at all... I might just wait until you're out of sight. Sorry.

How seriously do you take a game of Monopoly?

Not at all. I don't really enjoy Monopoly, usually I don't even play but I volunteer to be the banker.

Maxi dresses or knee length dresses?

Hmm. Maxi dresses are so comfortable and effortlessly stylish... But I think I have to go with knee length dresses. They're more my style.

What do you see yourself doing ten years from now?

I'll be 25. Lately I've been thinking a lot about what I'm going to do with my life, and I have a lot of things that I would like to do but unfortunately I can't do them all. In ten years I hope to be finished with college (or maybe in college, it depends on what I decide to do, but probably finished) and married, maybe with a couple kids.

Who is your favorite style icon?

I love Taylor Swift's style a lot. Also Mary Margaret's from Once Upon a Time, she always looks so darling and feminine. And Chuck from Pushing Daisies is a big one.

What are your top five fashion staples?

Well, oxford style shoes is definitely one.. My style is sometimes classic/vintage and sometimes more hipster, and oxfords go with both styles well. Beyond that I'm not sure.

What is your favorite book(s)?

Hmm... Definitely the Harry Potter series by J.K, Rowling, also anything by Gail Carson Levine or Diana Wynne Jones. I like fantasy.

Which Disney Princess would you like to be?

I think I would like to be Mulan... She is my favorite Disney princess (Belle is a close second!). She is incredibly brave, focused, persevering, and just straight up awesome.

If you could drop everything and travel to 3 specific places, where would you go?

Europe! I want to go to Britain so badly, I would love to go to Italy, Holland, France... Someday.

Favorite youtuber(s)?

I like Rhett and Link, they always make me laugh. Check out their Good Mythical Morning channel.

Least favorite food?

Umm... Maybe cauliflower? Or peanut butter, it has such a weird texture...

Favorite celebrity?

I really like Taylor Swift. I like a bunch of other people too but I'm going to just go with that.

Most annoying song?

Happy by Pharrel Williams.

Best birthday?

Probably my 4th birthday, we had a tea party with all of my friends and I wore my favorite party dress.

Last movie you watched?

The Fault in Our Stars.

My questions are...

1. What's your favorite kind of foreign food?
2. Who are some of your favorite actors/actresses?
3. What do you want to be when you 'grow up'?
4. Who is a great inspiration to you?
5. Favorite band?
6. What's your favorite book genre?
7. What's your favorite kind of jewelry to wear?
8. Cake or pie?
9. Favorite restaurant?
10. Favorite color?
11. Polka dots or stripes?

I nominate...

Elizabeth from Whimsical Thoughts

Midi skirt.

Hello lovelies! I hope you are all enjoyed this first weekend of spring (EEEEEP)! I'm surprised that I even survived that winter. It was tough, but I made it through. :)
On Saturday I walked around and distributed flyers for my Youth Group's Easter egg hunt. It was great to enjoy the nice weather we've been having, though I did get rather warm after awhile!

dress (worn as a skirt), shirt, necklace (hand-me-down), - thrift store // belt - came with a skirt, target // shoes - famous footwear

What did you all do this weekend?
