One Outfit Three Ways | Day Three

Well, it's the last day of the #1outfit3ways blog event over at Bramblewood Fashion. I had a lot of fun doing this and it really challenged my to think of new ways to style this jumpsuit!

This skirt is actually a swimsuit cover-up dress. That's why it has holes in it, haha!

Made bracelets with my friend. #swag

One Outfit Three Ways | Day Two

Well guys, so much for taking decent outfit pictures today...

Today is day two of Ashley over at Bramblewood Fashion's blog event! I'm pretty happy with how my outfit turned out today. I love the shirt tied in the front look and I do it often enough, so I thought why not put it over my jumpsuit to make it look like pants?
Unfortunately these outfit pictures were, again, taken super quickly. I usually just take outfit pictures when I have time, I'm not used to having to take some even when I don't feel like it, haha!
I'm super excited for the last day of this event tomorrow! Check back again then to see the third and final way I style my jumpsuit.

One Outfit Three Ways | Day One

Hey hey hey! Today is day one of the blog event over at Bramblewood Fashion. The goal is to style one outfit three different ways. Ashley from Bramblewood Fashion's look for today is absolutely adorable- you should go check it out!
I chose to style this jumpsuit. I think it will really be a challenge, it'll be pretty difficult to style something, that already makes such a statement, three different ways. We'll see how it goes!
Today was a super busy day, and we were rushing about, so these pictures were taking super quick on the back porch of our new house that we're currently renovating! Hopefully for tomorrow's outfit I'll be able to take some decent pictures.

I styled it really simply for the first day. Like I said, it makes such a statement all on it's own that it doesn't need much styling!

What do you think of jumpsuits?

Stripes + Red

Hey everyone! I hope your past couple of weeks has been good. I got back from camp a week ago and have been feeling under the weather with a cold ever since. But I finally got around to taking some outfit photos on Saturday, AND it was sweltering outside, so. You're welcome.

May 2015 favorites

Hey peeps! How was your May? I wanted to share with you all my favorites of this month. I've seen this done by plenty of other people and I think it's a great idea! I think it's a great way  to find new products, music, etc. Plus it would be awesome to look back on these someday and see what I was into! So, let's get started...

BLOG: CLOVER + DOT
\{source}

I just discovered this blog a few weeks ago, and it is currently my favorite blog! Kate has so many great ideas and tutorials. Every time I visit her blog I leave totally inspired! She just launched her design shop too, and she has the option of getting a custom design or some gorgeous pre-made templates. If you've been thinking about getting a new design, you should totally go check her out!
See some of my favorite posts of hers here + here + here.

BOOK: THE TWO TOWERS BY J.R.R. TOLKIEN

This is the second book in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. This is my first time reading this series, and it is just as amazing as I expected it to be!

NAIL POLISH: REVLON IN URBAN

I have been wanting navy blue nail polish for some time now, and I finally received some last Christmas! Since then it's been my favorite nail polish. I think it's so gorgeous, plus it reminds me of what Hazel Grace from The Fault in Our Stars wears on her nails, and what more could you want in a nail polish than that?

FASHION: SIMPLE JEWELRY

Lately my go to jewelry has been a ring and a pair of earrings. It's so easy and it finishes off an outfit so well.

MOVIE: AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Okay guys. I have fangirled so hard about this movie. IT WAS SO GOOD. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.. BUT IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET THEN STOP READING THIS, DROP WHAT YOU'RE DOING, AND GO SEE IT RIGHT NOW! I am continually amazed by Marvel's movies... I am a huge fan of the complex characters and the fact that the movies are so full of hope.

MAKEUP PRODUCTS: EYELASH CURLER + EYEBROW PENCIL

So I actually have two favorite makeup products/tools this month. Lately my eyes have been really itchy and irritated, and I thought not using any eye makeup would help. So I've just been curling my lashes and filling in my eyebrows. I didn't used to do either of these things; they're pretty recent discoveries. I never thought I needed to fill in my brows because I have pretty bold brows already, but one day I decided to try my mom's and I am never going back. I love the way eyelash curlers make my eyelashes look! I'd been using my sisters (clearly I just love to use other people's makeup stuffs!) but I realized I needed to buy myself one for when I go to camp in a few days so the other day I bought one from Target from the brand e.l.f. Eyelash curler not pictured.

What are your May favorites?
